"Stale" Listing?

"Stale" listing?

Do you know what that is and what it means for your house?

Let me ask this, "Has your house been on the market for more than 2-3 months?" If you answered 'yes', then you have a "stale" listing. Sounds stinky, huh? Well, it sort of is, if you think about it. It means no one is viewing your house and there aren't any conclusive reasons why... (That stinks!) Well, there might be a few reasons. What does a "stale" listing mean to you, the Homeowner? It means no one has been looking at your house, either on-line or in-reality. Why?

One reason may be your on-line pictures and presence. If your pictures aren't enticing enough to get those buyers in your front door, then you've lost any shot at impressing them once inside your house.

If you haven't had your house professionally staged, then you may want to consider it. Just de-cluttering and straightening up your house isn't all that is involved in professionally staging your house. There are many more aspects to staging than most home owners realize. A professional Home Stager can help your listing from becoming stale. And if it has already gotten stale, we can help you get your house back in front of those buying eyes once again.

Don't chase your market, be pro-active not re-active!
